- Not the quickest backend out there: With a 13.2″–13.5″ chainstay, the Soundwave feels more balanced and stable than super twitchy. However, a 13.2″ rear end feels nice and responsive for me. (I’m 5’11”.)
- The 75° head tube is slightly calmer: Modern street frames are often steeper nowadays. The Soundwave still feels agile, but not overly aggressive on the front end.
- You might not fully need all this technology: If you’re not riding hard, doing big drops, grinding a lot or constantly abusing your bike, the Soundwave could honestly be overkill.
- Non-integrated seat clamp: For some, this might be a bummer. But quick-release seat clamps are becoming popular, so this might actually benefit others. (Hint: You can get it from Sunday.)
