3. How Brett Bars Ride
The geometry hits that sweet spot for a responsive yet stable front end.
The 9.25″ rise gives enough height for leverage without making the bars feel too tall or twitchy.
Fun fact: Brett Silva is 6′ tall.
Sure, he rides a top load stem and some spacers, but still, 9.25″ is almost considered “small” to the modern standards for his height. But it works fantastically well for him.
It’s important that you find what works best for you. Not what someone else says or what the trends are.
Anyway, back to the bar.
With the 12° backsweep and 2° upsweep, you get a natural wrist angle that’s comfy on long sessions, and offers excellent control whether you’re hopping curbs, charging rails or doing some insanely unique stuff, just like Brett.
