The Cult Devotion BMX bike is an absolute beast of a complete bike in that price range.

If you’re looking for a full-chromoly, top-notch BMX setup straight out of the box, this is it.

Packed with some aftermarket Cult parts, this bike is built to handle serious street and park riding.

Heck, the geometry even allows for trail and pump riding without an issue.

With a 21” top tube, double-wall rims, and sealed bearings throughout, the Devotion is one hell of a complete bike you can currently get your hands on.

And for just over $600, it’s totally worth it.

Whether you’re just getting back into BMX or looking for a durable, stylish ride to push your limits, this bike delivers.

Getting a full chromoly BMX bike is a smart move, even if you’re just testing the waters.

Cult Devotion BMX Bike Review

1. Design & Build Quality

The Cult Devotion bike features a full 100% chromoly frame, fork, bars, and cranks, ensuring maximum strength and durability.

This ensures you won’t have to replace BMX parts as fast as you’d have to with a high-tensile bike. Even if you start progressing faster, the Devotion bike will handle it.

Invest cast dropouts add extra toughness to the rear end, making this bike great for heavy shredding, too.

The Salvation V5 top load stem keeps the front end dialed (more on the stable side), while the 9” rise bars offer solid control.

However, I personally wish this bike came with 9.25” bar or even 9.5” bar, especially for a 21” frame.

But if you want to raise the front end a little more, you can add some spacers to the stem, which is an easy fix.

At 25 lbs, the Devotion is light for a full-chromoly complete, and the black and matte clear color options give it a clean, classic look.

3. How Cult Devotion Bike Rides

The Cult Devotion BMX bike is stable, strong, and built for aggressive riding.

The 13.25” chainstay length keeps the bike balanced and controlled, making it ideal for technical street riding, fast park transitions and trails.

It’s a pretty all-around chainstay length, which I think is perfect for someone getting into BMX or even if you are in the phase of progression.

Especially in combination with a standard 75° head tube angle.

The Salvation V5 stem’s 32mm rise helps, but I still wish the bars were 9.25” or even 9.5” to better match the 21” top tube.

That said, if you feel the front end is too low, adding some spacers under the stem is a quick solution.

However, I like my front end slightly taller, so if that’s not you, you’ll love Devotion’s default setup.

Another thing that would make this bike even better?

170mm BMX cranks instead of the stock 175mm. Shorter cranks make spins easier and improve clearance on grinds, but that’s a personal preference.

Overall, the Cult Devotion feels incredibly solid and rides like a custom build right out of the box.

Oh, one more thing, I like that Cult also added two pegs, which is more than perfect for starters.

All you need to do is put on a BMX helmet and some safety pads, and you’re ready for a session with the Devotion bike.

I could only wish to have a bike like this when I started riding BMX 20+ years ago, lol.

While I wish it had 9.25” or 9.5” bars and 170mm cranks, these minor tweaks can be adjusted easily.

The Salvation V5 stem helps compensate with a 32mm rise, and adding spacers can further dial in the front-end height.

But you don’t have to. In fact, these are optimization tweaks that you can do later.

The Cult Devotion is one of the best completes available at this price point for street, park, and all-around riding.

Final verdict: If you want a pro-level BMX that doesn’t need upgrades, the Cult Devotion is one of the best options.
