If you’re hunting for the perfect set of 9.25 inch BMX bars, you’re in the right place!
Finding the right bars can completely change your riding experience.
From manuals to spins, barspins, and all the other tricks, it can make things a lot easier (or harder if you pick a bar that doesn’t fit you right).
And a 9.25″ bar is a pretty safe spot for everyone right now.
It’s not too high, and it’s not too low.
Plus, there are riders who are 5’7″ and there are riders who are 6’11” that ride this rise.
But with so many options, picking the best handlebar for your style can be a bit overwhelming.
I’ve personally tested several of these bars, and I can tell you that the right choice depends on strength, geometry, and how they feel under your hands.
Whether you’re a park rider looking for something light and snappy or a street shredder who needs indestructible bars that can handle drops and grinds, I included a perfect match for everyone.
Now, let’s look at the best options you can currently get on the market.

Best 9.25 inch BMX bars (2 piece)
1. Fiend Reynolds Bar
The Fiend Reynolds bars are insanely good.
They’re Garrett Reynolds’ signature handlebars, so you know they’re legit.
Made with the same multi-butted, heat-treated chromoly as the Fiend Team bars, but a bit slimmer at 27.25″ wide, perfect for fast barspins.
The 9.25″ rise feels solid for better control, and the 12° backsweep with 1° upsweep hits that sweet spot of comfort and responsiveness.
They only weigh 28.9 oz, so they’re light without sacrificing durability.
Seriously, these bars can handle whatever you throw at them.
Reynolds bar specs:
- Width: 27.25″
- Backsweep: 12°
- Upsweep: 1°
- Weight: 28.4 oz
- Price: $79.99 (may vary)
2. Kink Foundry Bar
The Kink Foundry Bars are seriously tough.
These bars are all about classic, no-nonsense strength – made from straight gauge 4130 chromoly with TruTherm heat treatment after welding for that next-level durability.
Note: Because they are straight gauge, they are slightly heavier.
The 12° backsweep and 1° upsweep feel just right for control and comfort, and with the 29.5” width, they’re perfect for stability.
However, feel free to cut them to your desired width – I run bars just a little over 28″ wide.
No flashy gimmicks, just ultra-strong, two-piece bars that can take a beating and keep going.
Foundry bar specs:
- Width: 29.5″
- Backsweep: 12°
- Upsweep: 1°
- Weight: 32.4 oz
- Price: $54.99 (may vary)
3. Subrosa Ray Bar
The Subrosa Ray Bars are next level.
These are Matt Ray’s signature bars, and you can totally feel the quality.
Made from butted 4130 chromoly with a 20mm crossbar, they’re heat-treated after welding, so they’re ridiculously strong to handle some serious abuse.
Hey, if they handle Matt, they can handle anyone!
Plus, that welded Subrosa Shield badge adds a nice touch.
These bars are fire!

4. S&M Sand Bar
The S&M Sand bars are Dave Krone’s signature, and they are sick.
These bars are built from straight gauge 4130 chromoly, so they’re insanely strong and perfect for anything – but ideal for hard street riding.
The 9.25” rise and 29” width give you awesome control, and the 12° backsweep with 2° upsweep feels very nice in hands.
Sure, you might not ride with Dave’s level of steez just yet, but having these bars definitely makes you feel like you’re getting closer.

- Width: 29″
- Backsweep: 12°
- Upsweep: 2°
- Weight: 40 oz

5. Demolition X Fast & Loose Bar
The Fast & Loose crew is insane, and you know that. So, you already know that the collaboration bar with Demolition is insane!
You couldn’t be more right.
These bars are beastly.
Made from 13-butted, 4130 chromoly tubing, these bars have a bigger center box section and thicker heat-treated tubing, making them basically indestructible.
The “Pull Back or Die” vibe is real – these bars are all about going big.
Fast & Loose bar specs:
- Width: 29″
- Backsweep: 12°
- Upsweep: 2°
- Weight: 34.3 oz
- Price: $79.99 (may vary)
6. Odyssey Boss V2 Bar
The Odyssey Boss bars are Aaron Ross’ signature, and they’re so dialed!
Made from butted chromoly tubing with a chunky 22mm crossbar, these things are built for insane strength and durability.
The 9.25” rise and 29” width make them feel perfect for controlling big tricks, and the 12° backsweep with 2° upsweep just feels comfy and natural.
At 34.8 oz, they’re solid but not overly heavy.
Honestly, these bars are an absolute game-changer – Ross the Boss knows what’s up!

7. Snafu Noa Bar
The Snafu Noa bars are Logan Martin’s signature, and they sure are next level!
Built with 4130 heat-treated chromoly, these bars are strong but super light.
What I find really cool about these is how the crossbar tapers in the center – it goes from 20mm to 15mm. A very unique feature!
The 9.25” rise and 29” width give you killer control for every trick, and the 11° backsweep with 1° upsweep feels buttery smooth.
At just 28.5 oz, they don’t weigh you down at all.
You know they’re the real deal if they’re good enough for an Olympic gold medalist.
Noa bar specs:

The Alienation 9.25 handlebars feel rock solid straight out of the box.
Made from 11-butted 4130 chromoly with 3mm thick walls, these bars are heat-treated and ready to take on anything.
The deep knurled clamping area keeps them locked in place, no matter how hard you ride.
With a 9.25” rise and 29” width, they feel perfect for control, and the 11° backsweep with 2° upsweep makes them wrist-friendly.

If they can handle Nathan Williams‘s level of shredding, you know the bars are fire.
The Williams 4-piece bars are made with straight gauge chromoly and TruTherm post-weld heat treatment, making them extremely strong for any type of riding.
Plus, the custom end cap design adds a clean touch.
At 37.9 oz, they’re tough and ready for some serious riding.

- Backsweep: 11°

10. Rixin Trust Bar
Let me tell you something: the Rixin Trust 4-piece bars are built like tanks.
Made from multi-butted, post-weld heat-treated chromoly, these things are ready for any abuse.
What I find really awesome are the added gussets where tall bars usually fail, so you know they’re tough.
Additionally, these gussets give the bars a very original look.
The 30″ width gives you amazing control, and the 12° backsweep with 1° upsweep feels super natural for everything from cruising to big tricks.
These are the ones to get if you’re looking for bars that won’t let you down.

How To Make Your 9.25″ BMX Bar Last Longer
Here are a few of my tips that will help you make your epic new bar last longer:
Keep It Tight
First things first: make sure your bars are tightened properly.
Loose bolts or a poorly clamped stem can cause your bars to slip, putting unnecessary stress on them and leading to premature wear or even cracks.
Note that if your bar slips too often, the knurling on the clamping area will wear out, causing slippage even on minor drops and landings.
Check your stem bolts regularly and ensure they’re cranked down nice and snug, but don’t overdo it and strip the threads.
Avoid Slamming Your Bike
I know, sometimes it’s hard to avoid when you’re sending it or bailing from a trick.
But try to minimize those hard slams.
And – EVEN MORE IMPORTANTLY – never throw your bike!
Constant heavy impacts can weaken your bars over time, especially where they’re welded.
If you have a gnarly crash, give your bars a quick inspection afterward to ensure everything looks solid.
Also, ensure you run bar ends because they offer a great protection and prevent injuries (you don’t want to stab yourself with a bar without bar ends – been there, done that).
Protect Your Bars from Rust
Rust is a bar killer, so keep your setup dry when you can.
If your bike gets soaked, wipe down your bars to prevent moisture from creeping in.
Some riders even like to spray a little anti-rust coating on their bars for extra protection (but that’s optional).
And hey, it doesn’t hurt to store your bike indoors if possible.
Inspect Your Bars Regularly
Give your bars a once-over every so often to look for cracks or signs of stress, especially around the welds.
If you notice anything sketchy, don’t risk it – get them checked out or replaced.
Your safety is WAY more important than holding on to a beat-up pair of bars.
Keep Your Riding Style in Mind
Last but not least, be realistic about your riding style.
If you’re an aggressive street rider, your bars will take more of a beating than someone who mainly rides park. (Get a pair of straight gauge bars in this case.)
If you’re hard on your setup, invest in a higher-end bar made for durability—trust me, it’s worth it.
