If you plan to ride aggressively or send bigger tricks, I’d recommend saving up for the epic Kink Whip bike, which comes with a full chromoly frame and double-wall rims for better long-term durability.
But for someone just starting out (either a beginner or a lighter, smaller rider), the Kink Curb is a solid choice.

This makes it strong enough for beginners but not as durable as chromoly.
The Kink Lance fork with tapered legs helps stiffen the front end, and the unsealed American mid bottom bracket adds smoothness and reliability. (Although the latter will likely need more maintenance – depending on how hard you ride.)
While the Mission X7 rims are single-wall, they are fine for beginner-level riding.
Pro tip: Ensure the rims are always true and try to avoid hitting curbs to extend their longevity.
The Mission Function semi-sealed cassette hub ensures solid engagement, but the unsealed front hub will require more maintenance over time.
